Commercial Partnerships
www.rachellanemua.com occasionally produces sponsored content, and this is clearly marked as such when it appears on the site. Our free-to-all-users forum and site cost a lot each year to host, our contributors need to be paid, our videos cost money and so on, and so commercial partnerships are essential in keeping us going. We turn things down constantly for all manner of reasons, even when that means a huge financial sacrifice.
In addition to sponsored content, our site also uses affiliate links to generate income for us. If you click on a link for a product you should assume that it’s an affiliate link and that if you make a purchase we will receive a small commission. We use this income to fund running costs and it has no bearing on whether or not a product makes it onto these pages – if we like it, we write about it regardless. If you don’t want to use an affiliate link, please open a new tab or window in your browser and do a search for the product there.
Samples
Most of the products we write about on the site are press samples. We receive press samples of pretty much all newly launched products, in common with many other journalists and bloggers. This enables us to test and review a huge variety of product, something that we simply couldn’t do if we had to purchase them all. Every product gets the same consideration, regardless of price or brand.
Competitions
We sometimes run competitions or giveaways in conjunction with sponsored content, which is clearly marked as such. If a competition is not marked as sponsored content or advertising feature, we have received no payment, simply the prizes to give away.
Changes to Our Sites
We may add or update the content on Our Sites at any time. We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will be free from errors or omissions. Where content goes out-of-date we are under no obligation to update it.
We will never update content you have submitted without your permission unless it is deemed unacceptable under our Acceptable Use Policy or where required to by law.
Accessing Our Sites
Our Sites are made available to you free of charge over the Internet using a suitable browsing device and Internet connection, which you must provide.
We do not guarantee that Our Sites, or any content on them, will always be available. We may suspend, withdraw, discontinue or change all or any part of Our Sites without notice. We will not be liable to you if for any reason Our Sites are unavailable at any time or for any period.
